The side tie actually does something — pull it and the mesh gathers into this soft ruching that changes the whole silhouette. Wore it over bike shorts to a show and got asked where it was from twice. Sheer enough that you need something under it, but that's kind of the point.
Wore this over a slip dress for a rooftop party and got asked about it all night. The mesh is properly sheer and short, and pulling the hip tie into soft ruching completely changed the shape.
The drawstring side tie is clever for adjusting the fit, but I was surprised by how sheer it is—definitely need something underneath. Also runs a bit shorter than expected.
