The high waist is super flattering and stays put when I move, and the flat black color is exactly as described—no weird sheen. It feels sturdy without being stiff, so I'm happy with the quality for the price.
I was worried high waisted would dig in when I sit down, but these stay put without any rolling. The deep flat black honestly looks better in person than on my screen, no shine at all. Wore them under stage lights last weekend and they read exactly how I wanted.
The matte finish is what sold me — no weird shine in photos, just a deep flat black that looks the same in daylight and under indoor lights. Wore it to the pool and it didn't go sheer or lose its shape.
