Wore this to a warehouse show last weekend and the matte finish genuinely swallowed the strobe lights instead of bouncing them back, which looked unreal in photos. The fabric stays put through hours of dancing too, no riding up or adjustments needed.
The flat black fabric really does absorb the light—I caught myself in a mirror under a strobe and it looked like a void wearing me. The keyhole cutout sits perfectly, and it moves with you for hours without riding up.
The matte finish is exactly what it promises—no glare off my chest in photos, just a clean dark silhouette that holds its shape after hours of wear. Shoulder straps stayed put through the whole set, which is more than I can say for most bodysuits I've tried.
